"Why does getting a refund have to take so long?"
I’m still waiting for my refund, it’s getting frustrating. Returns should be simple, right? But this whole process has felt like way more hassle than it needs to be.

"Shipping made the whole thing feel like a ripoff"
I was ready to place an order on yami, but then I got to checkout and saw the shipping fee. What a joke. It was way higher than I expected and instantly made the whole cart look stupid.
A bunch of the items seemed like decent deals at first, but once shipping got added, it felt like I was getting nickel-and-dimed by some greedy little fee monster. For a small grocery/snack order, the total just didn’t make sense anymore.
Maybe it’s fine if you’re buying a huge haul, but for a normal order, nope. I closed the cart and moved on because paying that much extra for shipping is just not worth it.

I tried using two different discount codes they emailed me, and both of them failed at checkout. Frustrating, honestly. When I reached out to support, they basically just said “terms apply”, which, okay, but the terms weren’t clear at all. It ended up feeling like a waste of time, especially since I only tried ordering because of the promo in the first place.

"Delivery can be kinda hit or miss"
I do like ordering from Yami, but the delivery is a little inconsistant. Sometimes my stuff gets here quick, and other times the tracking barely changes and then it shows up later than I thought it would. The items were packed fine tho, so no big issue there. Not a bad experience overall, I just wish the shipping was more reliable.

"Packaging could’ve been a lot better"
The box showed up crushed, especially around one corner, and a lot of the snacks inside were broken into little pieces. Nothing seemed missing, but it was disappointing opening it up and seeing everything so smashed.

"Not really worth the money"
I ordered a few snacks and some instant noodles, but I was disappointed. Some of the snacks tasted stale, probably because the packaging was damaged, and one item was almost expired. Since the quality wasn’t great, the price didn’t feel worth it. I don’t think I’ll order again

"A little disappointed with the expiration dates"
I do like ordering from yami because they have a bunch of snacks and random stuff I can’t always find nearby, but this last order kind of threw me off. A few of the snacks were already close to expiring, and like, they weren’t bad or anything, so it wasn’t a total disaster, but still… it’s annoying when you buy a bunch thinking you’ll have time to go through them slowly. I guess I just expected a longer window. Probably not going to order in bulk again, at least not for snacks.

I like a lot of the stuff here, which is what makes it so frustrating. Every time I get excited to buy something, it’s somehow already sold out. Then I’ll check back later thinking maybe it was restocked, but nope, still gone. It’s annoying because the products look great, but it feels like I’m never actually able to get them...

Just a heads up for anyone ordering from Yami: my box arrived with a few items that didn’t seem very fresh. Some of the snacks tasted a bit stale, and a couple of things felt like they were getting close to going bad, which was disappointing.
It might have just been an issue with my order, so your experience could be different, but I’d probably be cautious about buying anything too fresh or perishable from them next time. For pantry items, maybe it’s fine, but I’d check dates and condition right away when the box arrives.

"Not sure it was the real thing"
I ordered a skincare product from Yami, and right away the packaging looked kinda different from the one I usually grab in-store. Like, not just a tiny change, but enough that I was like hmm, this feels weeeird.
Then I opened it and the smell and texture seemed off too, so I didn’t feel comfortable putting it on my face. I reached out to support to ask about authenticity, but the reply was basic and didn’t really make me feel any better.
Maybe it was just a bad batch or something, I really don’t know. But after that experience, I probably won’t buy this type of skincare product from here again.

"Prices feel way too high now"
I used to stop by here more often, but lately it just feels like everything costs more than it should. I know prices are up everywhere, but other Asian stores I’ve been to seem cheaper, so it kind of makes me think this place is raising prices too much. Maybe I’m only noticing the expensive stuff, but still, it adds up fast...

"Frozen stuff showed up half melted"
I ordered a bunch of frozen and cold stuff from yami.com, it arrived in rough shape. Everything was barely cold, the ice packs were basically just bags of water, and a few items already felt soft. One of the boxes was leaking too, which was super gross and just not it.
I hit up support, but they took forever to get back to me and the response was kinda meh, like they didn’t really help much. If they can’t pack frozen food properly, they probably shouldn’t be shipping it like that. Definitely not ordering cold items from them again

"Decent membership, just not a must-have"
Yami does have some good stuff, and I do order from them once in a while. The membership is fine, well, maybe not fine exactly, just kind of okay unless you’re buying often. The points don’t really add up enough to feel super rewarding for me, but I still use it here and there. I just wish the perks were a little better.

"Honestly, the app got frustrating"
I don’t know, maybe it was just my experience, but the website kept freezing on me and the app randomly logged me out while I was browsing. The search felt kind of messy too, so after a while I just gave up trying to place my order.

I had a problem with my order and reached out to customer service twice. Both times it felt like my messages got quietly escorted into some secret underground inbox nobody is allowed to check. It took forever to hear back, and when they finally replied, it didn’t really solve anything. Frustrating, honestly. I’m not saying there’s a grand conspiracy to avoid helping customers... but it definitely felt that way. Not sure I’ll be ordering from yami.com again

"Checkout seriously tested my patience"
I tried to pay twice and the checkout kept freezing right after I entered my card info. No error message or anything helpful, it just sat there like I was supposed to patiently wait and guess what was happening. When I finally refreshed, my coupon was gone too. Super frustrating and a waste of time. not sure I’ll bother ordering again.
